Hand Care – Product Review

Burt’s Bees Hand Salve

Burt’s Bees Hand Salve is another organic product, but I am not all that exuberant about this one.

Its ingredients list includes sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol (Vitamin E), comfrey root extract, rosemary oil and leaf extract, lavender oil and extract and eucalyptus oil. All great ingrediants but the product doesn’t work for me. I find it too oily and I put it on and it doesn’t soak into the skin fast enough. Neither do I like the scent of it but the eucalyptus which gives it its smell is not a favorite of mine.

However, its very oily properties might be good for extremely dry hands. Maybe I could use surgical gloves after I slather it over my hands and get a deep moisturizing treatment.

Hand Care – Product Review

Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme by Burt’s Bees:

Another great product by Burt’s Bees! I just love this stuff! Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme works! And it smells scrumptious! A lovely lemony smell. Smooth it on the ends of your fingers, your nails, cuticles and you will notice how it softens them. My nails seem to have grown stronger with this handcare product. The ingredients include sweet almond oil, beeswax, lemon oil, tocopheral acetate, tocopherol (vitamin E), cocoa butter, candelilla wax, rosemary extract, beta-carotene.

Coconut Oil Foot Creme

Burt’s Bees, Coconut Oil Foot Creme

This is absolutely the best foot care creme I have found on the market. It also smells scrumptious due to the lovely smell of coconuts. Slather some on your feet at night, put on some cotton socks and wake up with softer feet in the morning.

As with all Burt’s Bees products, the ingredients are 98.6% natural. Coconut Oil, rosemary glycerin and peppermint are the main ingredients.

The product retails for about $15.00 in Canada. Check out other Burt’s Bees products at their website at Burtsbees.com.
