Karen,
One of the most surprising things I’ve found is that the mainstream media keeps writing about progestins and chemical hormones from the Big Pharmas, but they never even mention bio-identical hormones. They keep writing about the dangers of synthetic hormones, but never mention in their articles “bio-identical hormones.”
Why is this? Have they never heard about bio-identical hormones or are they not allowed to write about them?
There are far more doctors who understand hormones and work with people when their hormone levels diminish – in the United States – just check our US doctors’ listings. It is difficult to understand why there are so few doctors in Canada who know about hormones and bio-identical hormone supplementation.
Unfortunately, it’s a sad state of affairs in Canada.

Is this for real? I recently returned to my home in Sask after living in Virginia, U.S.A. for 25 yrs. I have spent 2 months looking for drs who understand and can prescribe bioidentical hormones. We need to start demanding changes to our government. There are a ca zillion in Ont. PLEASE HELP! SURELY TO GOD THERE IS A DOC IN THE PROVINCE OF SASK. who can come forward and help!??
