Product Review: Bigelow Mint Medley:
I tried the Bigelow Mint Medley tea, but was less than pleased with this brand of peppermint tea because of the taste. This tea consists of peppermint leaves, spearmint leaves, rose hips, lemon peel and hibiscus. However, I found it less sweet tasting with a more bitter smell than the Celestial Seasonings Tea. Not my Number One Mint tea. Check out their website at www.bigelowtea.com

Natural Anti aging arsenal for excess facial hair can be found with Spearmint leaf tea by Celebration Herbals is a certified organic tea free of caffeine. It contains only spearmint leaves (mentha spicata) and has a sweet, delicate taste and aroma which reminded me of the candy I ate as a child.
Recent research from Suleyman Demirel University in Turkey in 2007 showed that spearmint tea helps promote the production of female hormones and lowered androgen levels in women resulting in a decline of hirsutism (excessive facial hair growth). It is also beneficial for menopausal women who experience excessive facial hair growth. Drinking between two and five cups a day for five days during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle will assist with these milder symptoms of hirsutism. Spearmint tea which grows wild in Turkey was used for the study. In men, spearmint tea was found to suppress the libido. For the article on this research, you can read the article at www.nutraingredients.com website.
This is a pleasant tasting herbal tea and, according to the research, can assist with excess facial hair growth if used exactly in the way that is described above. Another natural anti aging tool for you to use for this aspect of aging.

Product Review: Celestial Seasonings Peppermint Tea
I’ve taken up drinking peppermint tea on occasion and after sampling several different brands of peppermint teas, I found the most delicious one was Celestial Seasonings Peppermint Tea. The only ingredient in the tea is peppermint leaves.
Smooth and pleasant tasting, peppermint tea is believed to cure problems of the digestive tract such as indigestion and has been used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. It is also believe to help with allergy symptoms and asthma. Most recently, research has shown that it can help relieve symptoms of hirsutism (excess facial hair) in women by reducing androgen levels. This is achieved by drinking the tea for five days during the follicular period of the menstrual cycle. Check out the Celestial Seasonings website here.
