Suzanne Somers to speak about Bioidentical Hormones

Suzanne Somers will be in Toronto

Anti Aging Naturally - Suzanne Somers

Anti Aging Naturally - Suzanne Somers

Suzanne Somers is to speak about BIO-IDENTICAL Hormones in Toronto. If you are lucky enough to live in or around the Toronto area, Suzanne Somers will be doing a presentation on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) on October 29, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre at 255 Front Streets, West, between Simcoe and John Streets.

Suzanne will also be discussing information she obtained while interviewing some of the top doctors worldwide for her new book “Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer and How to Prevent Getting It In The First Place”. In this very sensible book, she explains why the $200 billion dollar cancer industry is harming rather than helping the people they look after. The book consists of interviews with cutting edge doctors who are changing the face of treatment of cancer without surgery or poisons for their patients.

Suzanne is a best selling author of many books, including books pm natural anti aging, dieting with her Somersize program, natural bioidentical hormones and the treatment of menopause, and cooking. Coming from a difficult childhood and becoming an actress, a performer, surviving breast cancer, promoting bioidentical hormones in North America and eventually becoming a successful writer and an almost one-woman industry, she is definitely someone to watch and listen to. Suzanne is a successful business woman and human being who shows that surviving and thriving is possible, even with many cards stacked against you.

If you are suffering from cancer or know someone who is, this is one show you don’t want to miss. If you are in premenopause or menopause and still don’t know about the natural hormones available to you for treating the symptoms of menopause, this presentation is for you. If you are seeking natural anti aging remedies, Suzanne is the guru. If you are curious about bioidentical hormones and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, don’t miss it!

Susanne is presented by TruBalance Healthcare Inc.

Her latest book can be purchased at your local bookstore or at the presentation or you can purchase it here, online, at Amazon.

A New Bioidentical Doctor in Toronto

We have found a new bioidentical doctor in the Toronto area for those women and men seeking bioidentical hormones to treat their menopause or andropause symptoms. The doctor’s name is Dr. Pugen.

If you are beginning to suffer from the many symptoms of menopause which include hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain especially around the waist area, feelings of moodiness or depression, lack of energy, disturbed sleep patterns, (for example, waking in the early morning hours and unable to get back to sleep) and are approaching your early 40s or 50s, perhaps it’s time to seek a solution to these problems. Discuss with your doctor the options available for you. If your symptoms are not severe, you may be able to treat your menopause with simple life style changes such as a change in diet, exercise, reducing your stress levels and simple nutritional supplements. PureAgeless explores all the natural anti aging options available to you. However, if you are suffering from severe symptoms which are making your life extremely difficult, you may need to balance your hormone levels with bioidentical hormones.

You can go to any doctor, including your regular general doctor and have them do a hormone panel on you. This is a simple blood test where they will assess what your hormone levels are, including estrogen (estradiol, estrone and estriol, progesterone, free testosterone and your thyroid levels. By testing the levels of your hormones in your blood, the doctor will be able to know whether you are premenopausal or actually in menopause. If your hormone tests show that you have hormones which are unbalanced and you are in menopause, you can speak to your doctor about treating your menopause with bioidentical hormones.

Men are also treating their “menopause” – known as “andropause,” these days with bioidentical hormones. The procedure is the same for men and women. Visit your doctor to have the hormone levels tested and, in this way discover which of your hormones need to be replaced. If your regular doctor is not able to prescribe bioidentical hormones, men will then have to find a bioidentical doctor in their area. Simply make an appointment and discuss the symptoms you are experiencing and the results of your hormone tests. The hormones most commonly in decline in men as they approach their late 40s to early 50s include progesterone and testosterone. After visiting the bioidentical hormone doctor, they will obtain a prescription for an individually compounded bioidentical hormone mixtures of the hormones they need to replace.

You will be able to find Dr. Pugen’s contact information on our Canadian doctors page. Dr. Pugen is located on Bathurst Street area in north Toronto. Many thanks goes to one of our readers for supplying this bioidentical doctors name for our other readers. In this way, we can help each other in our search for bioidentical hormone relief for menopause and andropause symptoms.
