Jason Pure Natural & Organic “Dulce de Leche” Bathset - Product Review

Jason Pure Natural & OrganicMade by Jason Pure Natural & Organic, the Dulce de Leche bathset of Hand and Body lotion and Satin Shower Body Wash provides an organic anti-aging treat for your skin in the bathroom. We tried the duo over a one month period of time and came up with the following product review for our readers.

We raved over the Satin Shower Body Wash but were a little disappointed, but not totally disappointed with the Hand and Body Lotion.

The Satin Shower Body Wash was a delight in the shower because of its fabulous scent and organic ingredients. Our opinion is always that we should avoid products which contain chemicals such as

Anti-aging and Aesthetic Medicine Conference

Published by PureAgeless under Anti-aging

Anti-Aging & Aesthetic MedicineFor those who say “hogwosh”, we beg to differ: we believe anti-aging is a global concept:

An anti-aging conference entitled the European Congress on Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine (ECAAAM) will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany from September 11-14th, 2008, in partnership with the World Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (WAAAM) and its academic affiliates, the European Society of Anti-Aging Medicine (ESAAM) and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).

The intention of this conference is to give European scientists, medical professionals and industry personnel the training and education to handle age-related disease, dysfunctions and disorders.

Bioidentical Hormones - Women are Rebelling

You’ve probably heard about Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, (the makers of the chemical hormones Premarin and Prempro), petition in the United States to request that the FDA prohibit compounding pharmacies from making bioidentical hormones for their patients. If not, a brief summary is to follow. You should be aware that the big pharmaceuticals – because they cannot profit by patenting bioidentical mixtures – are trying to deny your access to bioidentical hormones.

The history to all this is that the pharmaceutical companies saw a great cash cow in being able to provide pregnant mares’ urine (Premarin) and Prempro (chemical hormones) to treat the menopause symptoms of women. Think of all the female customers they would have because every woman eventually reaches menopause. The dollar signs were flashing in the great pharmaceutical companies’ eyes: Ca-ching! Ca-ching!

Testosterone Supplementation

TestosteroneIf you haven’t been feeling like making love with your honey lately and you’d rather wash your hair, it is probably because your body is low in the hormone testosterone. Testosterone levels in both men and women decline as the years go by, but it is possible to supplement with testosterone to bring back those feelings of lust and desire, so important for human beings of all ages.

Testosterone levels can be checked with either a blood or saliva test. If your levels are normal, then you will have to look deeper into why you are not feeling a little lusty for your partner. It could be overwork, stress or a variety of other relationship issues which will lower the testosterone in your body. Talk to your medical practitioner. But today, we are going to talk about testosterone supplementation in this posting.

Cosmetic Procedures - Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that can be done at home or in a salon. The home procedure can be performed with a hand held machine such as Neutrogena’s At Home Microdermabrasion kit or with any one of the variety of microdermabrasion formulas available on the market.

However, treatments at home are not as effective as the treatment you can have in a salon because of the equipment used and the skills of the esthetician performing the task. In a salon, the esthetician will use a specialized tool for the procedure which utilizes various crystals such as sodium bicarbonate, aluminum oxide or sodium chloride. The tool action shoots out the crystals and vacuums up the used crystals and dead skin cells.

Some Health Politics for our Readers

We apologize for the late announcement of this news but we should make our Canadian readers aware of the following which will affect their health in the future. We believe in nutritional supplements and the need for them. We support our health industry. We believe in an organic approach to our health. We will possibly lose this right to evaluate, to research and to think for ourselves if we do not act now. Please read the following by Chris Gupta. It concerns you and your health. Although the date has passed (we received this at quite late today), you can still act now.

The article follows:

While most Canadians rely on natural health products supplements for their health, Bill 51 could give Health Canada unprecedented powers to legally remove vitamins and minerals off the shelves. This bill seems to serve the interest of the pharmaceutical industry, and prevent access to safe natural health products. While it passed first reading in Parliament, it can still be stopped as long as the public makes it known, to our politicians, that it is up to us whether we want to take vitamin C or not, and not need a prescription for it.
