Medistik – Product Review

Medistik(TM) – Rapid Pain Relief:

Medistik for Pain ReliefMediStik (TM), a is a rapid pain relief product I found at the Anti-Aging Show in Toronto in March of 2007. The company President had given me a stick of it to sample and review for PureAgeless.com. I have to say I was a little doubtful of the claims made (instant pain relief) but I was eager to try it on my knees which have constantly bothered me since a skiing accident four years ago. My doctor had prescribed me anti-inflammatory prescription medications and exercises to build up the strength in my legs, but after taking it and following the exercise program, nothing had worked. The pain is so bad in my knees that I sincerely doubted the claims of instant pain relief from this new product.

Needless to say, I decided to give this product a test drive. When my left knee began to give me pain a couple of days later, I stroked on a swipe of the baton on my left knee and within five seconds, the pain was gone. I couldn’t believe it! My knee remained pain free for about four days after. My other knee decided to give me some more pain and I repeated a swipe on that knee and, again, the pain is gone within a minute. I started to carry the baton of MediStik(TM) in my purse. When a friend complained about her back, I told her about the product. She went away and tried it and came back and said also that the pain had gone. We are certainly pleased and amazed with the results of Medistik!

The only negative thing I can say about the product is the smell of it, but the smell does go away after several minutes. The smell comes from the ingredients of Methyl Salicylate, Mentha Haplocalyx Brig (Menthol), and Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus Oil).

Medistik (TM) can be purchased online from the company’s website at www.medistik.net or at selected sport stores or rehabilitation clinics. Check their website to find out exact locations.

Hand Care – Product Review

Burt’s Bees Hand Salve

Burt’s Bees Hand Salve is another organic product, but I am not all that exuberant about this one.

Its ingredients list includes sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol (Vitamin E), comfrey root extract, rosemary oil and leaf extract, lavender oil and extract and eucalyptus oil. All great ingrediants but the product doesn’t work for me. I find it too oily and I put it on and it doesn’t soak into the skin fast enough. Neither do I like the scent of it but the eucalyptus which gives it its smell is not a favorite of mine.

However, its very oily properties might be good for extremely dry hands. Maybe I could use surgical gloves after I slather it over my hands and get a deep moisturizing treatment.

Hand Care – Product Review

Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme by Burt’s Bees:

Another great product by Burt’s Bees! I just love this stuff! Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme works! And it smells scrumptious! A lovely lemony smell. Smooth it on the ends of your fingers, your nails, cuticles and you will notice how it softens them. My nails seem to have grown stronger with this handcare product. The ingredients include sweet almond oil, beeswax, lemon oil, tocopheral acetate, tocopherol (vitamin E), cocoa butter, candelilla wax, rosemary extract, beta-carotene.
