There are simple things you can do to look better at any age. Once you have taken care of your body from the inside by achieving hormonal balance, optimum wellness by such things as eating organically, exercising, quitting smoking, drinking less alcohol, and taking the nutritional supplements you need, there are many things you can do to look your best on the outside.
Most importantly, an excess of weight ages anyone at any age. Losing the extra weight and exercising will not only help you look better, you will feel better. Your clothes will fit better and it’s more fun to go shopping for clothes when you feel good about yourself and the way you look.

If you need cosmetic surgery or feel the need to use cosmetic fillers, choose an experienced doctor or plastic surgeon to do the work. Only get what you need and don’t over do it. A face that has had too much “work” does not look good at all and begins to look fake.

Get a good haircut that’s easy to maintain and if you need to color to cover the gray, do so but only allow a skilled color technician to do the work. Using a hair color from a drugstore is guaranteed to give unpredictable results. Get a base color and then have highlights which will “lift” your color. Darker colors tend to look drab and are not as flattering.

Update your wardrobe and dress in the current fashions but don’t wear something that is designed for a 20 year old body. Baring midriff fashions only work on perfect abs, so if your abs are not perfect, don’t try to look younger wearing younger fashions which will only look silly. Accentuate the positive aspects to draw attention away from the parts of your body you do not want to draw attention to.

Update your makeup look. Visit a skilled makeup artist for tips in application and colors that are most flattering to your skin tone and eye color. A light foundation in the proper tone, applied with care and well blended will hide imperfections and smooth your skin. Get your eyelashes dyed by a skilled technician; it will brighten up your eyes even when you are not wearing makeup.
Take care of your skin by moisturizing daily after showering or bathing. Sophia Loren is known for looking fabulous, even at the age of 73. She bathes occasionally in baths of extra virgin olive oil to keep her skin soft. Not only does she have great genes, she has maintained a good weight, wears suitable makeup and clothes, has a good haircut and she, no doubt, eats an organic Mediterranean style diet.

You can also protect your skin against premature aging by wearing sunscreen. Nothing ages the skin more quickly than overexposure to the sun. Too much sun can also cause skin cancer. For the skin on your face, use organic age-appropriate products and have a facial at least once a month with an esthetician. You will enjoy the experience, it’s a treat for your skin and it’s a great way to relax. You deserve it!

And lastly, don’t forget your hands and toes. A manicure and pedicure will keep your hands and feet looking clean and attractive, especially in the summer. Nothing is worse than dry dead skin and rough feet!

    That’s really a helpful anti-aging tips from head to toe. I should keep that in mind so that I have less worries about the way I look when I get older. It’s true that we can enjoy simple things in life and that by taking care of our body. Beauty and health conscious people should read more about the natural methods to stay healthy and look good.     It’s true, we don’t need all those chemicals. Health is easier to maintain with all the products available to us and it is easy to buy “pure” products these days because of their availability.
