Caring for Aging, Damaged Hair
Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Shampoo
The strong smell of lavender engulfed my head when I used Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Shampoo for the first time. This is the first organic shampoo I have ever tried. There are not as many soap suds as with the traditional chemical shampoos I have used all my life, but this could be a good thing – less suds, less chemicals. I only soaped and lathered once. My hair felt fresh and clean after rinsing.
Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Shampoo has two organic certifications on its lable of ingredients – one by Quality Assurance International and the other by International Certification Services. The ingredients include purified water, coconut acid, organic lavender flower, calendula flower, chamomile flower extracts, oat, vegetable glycerin, arginine (amino acid), panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), vitamin E, organic lavendar oil, other essential oils and other ingredients.
I followed the shampooing with Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Conditioner, the review follows. After drying, I had less “frizz” than usual (due to the moisturing ability of this shampoo used with the conditioner and my hair felt soft. Nice product.
