Anti-aging Weightloss Tea

Published by PureAgeless under Anti-aging, Teas

Here’s a great recipe for a healthy natural anti-aging tea you can make yourself.  A friend gave me this recipe and it has helped her lose weight.  If you take a look at the ingredients, something that I did, you will see why this tea is so good for you.  It helps promote your health and in this way, it is an anti-aging tea.  A component of this tea is green tea and this has been used for losing weight in many weightloss aids.  My friend lost 15 pounds in one month drinking this tea and another friend who’s been drinking it has lost 8 pounds.  Both women ate healthy diets while drinking this tea.  The recipe and the ingredients with their health benefits follows.

First the anti-aging weightloss tea recipe.

You need: cumin seeds, ginger, mint and green tea. Boil them all in equal amounts (one green tea bag), leave for 10 minutes to steep.  Drink one cup, three times a day before each of your meals for one month. It will clean up the whole body of all fat and waste specifically around the stomach area. Watch out for some additional visits to the washroom; but it doesn’t cause any type of diarrhea, like other detox or “cleansing” teas.

Green Tea:

Green tea is rich in powerful anti-oxidants called catechin polyphenols, specifically epigallocatechin gallate.  EGCG inhibits the growth of cancer cells without causing damage to healthy tissue. It has also been effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels and preventing the formation of blood clots which can be responsible for such diseases as thrombosis,  the leading cause of stroke and heart attacks.

Studies have shown that Japanese men who drink lots of green tea have the lowest rate of heart disease even though 75% of them are smokers.  EGCG is twice as strong as resveratrol which could explain these stats.

Green tea stimulates the metabolism which means that you burn more calories and this assists with weight loss.  Just check out your pharmacy or health store and observe how many weight loss formulations contain green tea.

An added bonus to drinking green tea is that it helps prevent tooth decay because of its ability to kill the bacteria which causes a buildup of dental plaque.  Read our previous article on the anti-aging health benefits of green tea.

Ginger:

Ginger, another great ingredient in this healthy anti-aging tea can help prevent migraines, and give relief to arthritic pain.  Research done in Denmark reports that ginger will block the effect of prostaglandins – substances which cause the inflammation of the blood vessels in the brain.  Other research in the U.S. has shown that ginger has the same effect on blood clots that aspirin has.  Additionally, ginger can help reduce cholesterol levels.

Mint:

Mint has been used widely in foods and herbal medicines in the Middle East, India and Europe for hundreds of years.  Health benefits of mint include settling upset stomachs, reducing the discomfort felt by those with irritable bowel syndrome, and slowing the growth of bad bacteria and fungi in the intestines.  It has been used for the treatment of asthma and allergies.  Furthermore, it appears to have many benefits as an antioxidant because of a component called perillyl alcohol which in studies has been shown to prevent colon, skin and lung cancer.  Recent research has also shown that mint has been shown to stop facial hair growth on women.  Read the article on the research on mint tea here.

Cumin Seeds:

Anti-aging benefits are also to be found in cumin seeds   It can be used as a stimulant, an antiseptic and for digestive disorders. Because of its antiseptic properties, it can help deal with the symptoms of the common cold. Cumin seeds are high in iron and it is believed that they cause the secretion of enzymes from the pancreas which assists in nutrient absorption into the body. Cumin seeds also help the liver to detoxify the body.

Research has also shown that cumin seeds have anti-carcinogenic properties and in laboratory animals have reduced the risk of stomach and liver tumours.  Cumin seeds have been used throughout history to treat atonic dyspepsia, flatulence, indigestion, nausea, morning sickness, diarrhea when mixed with boiling water salt and coriander.

So, add this anti-aging healthy tea to your daily intake.  Even better, use organic ingredients when you make this tea.  Rather than have a cup of coffee in the morning, try drinking this tea because of its health benefits.  It may also help you lose weight around the belly and, it is delicious.

How to find a Bioidentical Doctor

It is different in some parts of the country to find a doctor who can prescribe bioidentical hormones and then monitor your hormone levels after your initial prescription. Many women who visit this site are able to find a doctor here. We do research to find these doctors, some doctors email us to let us know and some readers will let us know and we can share this information with you.

If you are really having a hard time finding some doctors who will prescribe you bioidentical hormone therapy, we have mentioned that you can go to a compounding pharmacy and have a consultation with the compounding pharmacist and discuss all your symptoms. These compounding pharmacists know enough about bioidentical hormones that they will write you a prescription and you can take it to your own doctor and the doctor will sign your prescription.

One of our readers in Regina, Saskatchewan did just that and has provided us with his name. Her compounding pharmacist charged her a fee for this service. The doctor is Dr.Paul at the Broad Street Medical Clinic in Regina, Saskatchewan. She originally consulted with Roses at the Victoria Compounding Pharmacy first and she suggested to my physician what dosages should be used.

This is great news and sometimes one has to be a little resourceful to get what you want. Also, more and more doctors are becoming knowledgeable about bioidentical hormones and this helps women alot with their menopause symptoms.

I will add his name and address to the Canadian bioidentical doctor’s page. So far, I don’t have a telephone number. I will add it when I have obtained it.
